Police were called to the Pilot Travel Center, at the River Watch Parkway and Gun Club Road intersection, twice on Wednesday morning after the truckers realized someone had broken into their trailers overnight.

A Missouri man told police someone broke the truck’s seal and removed 13 cases of six packs of Kroger brand black pepper.

Later that morning, a North Carolina man told police someone removed the lock from his trailer and ripped off plastic wrap surrounding a pallet of beef hot links. He wasn’t aware how many of the hot links were missing but said the pallet looked “low.”

Pilot Travel Center

Should add some security to their parking. These guys spend a lot of money on diesel fuel and items bought from the store. They should be able to sleep in peace after they have made these investments there.

September is Ovarian Cancer awareness month.

Stealing food

Hot links, I guess I could see. Black pepper? Not so much. Just goes to show people will steal anything!
