Police were called to America Remanufacturing Co., 1219 New Savannah Road, twice for different incidents involving stolen vacuums, according to sheriff’s incident reports.

On Tuesday, an owner notified officers that someone had cut a gate to gain entry to the grounds and had stolen two pallets of Dirt Devil products from the loading docks. The missing items included 24 upright vacuums, 41 bagless canister models, oneQuick Vac, 500 pounds of vacuum cords and miscellaneous cleaning solutions. The owner told police the theft occurred between 1 p.m. Monday and 7:20 a.m. Tuesday.

Police returned about 10 a.m. Wednesday and learned that overnight, someone had stolen about $1,500 worth of vacuum cleaners from an unsecured trailer at the loading dock. The exact number of stolen vacuums from that incident was not immediately available.

why?

I hope they catch this thief. I think if I had a break-in on Monday that I would certainly make sure to secure the rest of my goods and not leave items in an unsecured trailer.

Will require a 3rd robbery.

What they stole so far is not even enough to clean up the ARC Commission's dirt.
