Pregnant woman punched in face by boyfriend, reports assault

  • Follow Crime & courts

A pregnant woman told police Thursday that she was assaulted by her boyfriend.

Richmond County authorities were called to University Hospital about 1:15 p.m. and spoke with a 27-year-old woman who said her boyfriend, also the father of her unborn child, punched her in the face and head several times with a closed fist, according to an incident report.

The woman, who is eight months pregnant, said she was walking on Richmond Hill Road with her boyfriend when he became angry and struck her several times in the face.

The responding deputy saw a knot above the woman’s right eye, a cut on her lip and swelling on her face. She told police that planned to prosecute.

There was no report of an arrest Thursday night.

Sad that men aren't men

Sad that men aren't men anymore. They use to be protectors and now their just bullies. I hope she does prosecute and stay away from him.

Mindset of our nation

Pregnant & beaten
Old & beaten
Wrong color & beaten

We are sinking in morals-good sense--& guts to change this direction.

Defenseless animal and beaten or otherwise abused. Child, elder, and animal abuse should be Capital crimes, but they are not.

no need for a description...we know it already, she a black lowly/uneducated female, probably with other children welfare dependent broodmare, he of course black w/dreads and saggin pants raise in a welfare home/abusive environment towards women, his mammy having a string of boyfriends in and out of her house so he has little or no respect for women, of course he is not educated-high school drop out, little or no job skills to speak of except for committing crimes and selling drugs so what we have here is a recipe for welfare/foo stamp/project housing/ governmenbt dependency, i am sure she probably has her defacs/public assistance case opening and pending right now (just waiting on the birth of the child), the assualt probably was becasue she "axed him when he were gonna git a job to hep suppuot his baby or she axed him where he was last nite" yes i am this critical because when her bruises heal and they catch him she will them refuse to get an order of protection, press charges-testify against him, and contact the local loan/finance companies applying for a loan to get money to post his bail.......just another day in "monkeytown"

Yet another good case...

for forced sterilzation. Wouldn't look for either of them to be winners of Parent of the Year awards.

It makes no sense to blame

It makes no sense to blame the victim just because she is not married to her baby's daddy. Maybe she is better off without him, and a good thing she did not marry the sorry thing.

I really

hope that she gets help and refrains from further intimate involvement with this guy. I'm just thinking, he could have knocked her into the street or something. Crazy fool.

The REAL Question Here...

If a licensed "carrier" had come up on the altercation and "got involved", would baby-mommy say it was "okay" and just a "misunderstanding"? That would be the true litmus test...

A child...

raised without a father beats a child raised without a father having a child that will be raised without a father.

The law of unintended consequences steps on another set of humans trying to figure out how to be human beings and survive what passes for life.

Thanks so much LBJ and all you libtards, living and dead. Really.
