2 gunmen rob barber shop

Police are investigating an armed robbery at an East Boundary business.

According to a news release, two black men with semi-automatic weapons entered Yellow Barber Shop, 501 East Boundary, shortly before 1 p.m. Friday and demanded cash.

The bandits left on foot with the cash.

Police said both men were wearing dark clothing. One had dreadlocks, and the other was wearing a mask.

You wouldn't think there would be that much cash in there, unless the local barber shop also acts as a neighborhood bank.

@ 20.00 a head...on a Friday! Could have been a few hundred dollars, especially if there were 3 or more barbers cutting!
Trust me when I say, barbers don't need to act as the "neighborhood bank" (which you were probably implying something criminal), from wednesday through saturday, many barbers make more than some attorneys.
