A local barber shop became a crime scene when an argument between co-workers turned violent Sunday.

Police were called to Kenny’s Master Kutz at 2240 Lumpkin Road at 1:05 p.m. to respond to an argument that resulted in an injury, a Richmond County Sheriff’s Office news release said.

When deputies arrived, they found Derrick Jackson, 22, with a gunshot wound to his left foot.

Police said that Jackson was arguing with a co-worker, William Beasley, 33, when he suffered the injury.
