Lisa Joann Wahman, 44, of Hardy McManus Road, was charged with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, according to a booking report from the Myrtle Beach Police Department.

Officers were called to the Anderson Ocean Club and Spa hotel on N. Ocean Boulevard at about 2 a.m. for an assault. They found Wahman standing outside her room with hotel security, according to a police incident report. Inside, officers found her husband, Erik Joseph Wahman, 39, on the kitchen floor with a laceration to his lower back.

A witness told police she was sleeping in the guest bedroom with the children and was awakened by Lisa Wahman coming into the room. She went into the bathroom and shut the door, according to the report. The witness heard someone yell, “Ouch Lisa.” She opened the door when she heard someone stumbling down the hallway and found Wahman in a pool of blood in the kitchen, according to the report. She called 911.

Hotel security guards responded to a 911 hang-up from the room. A woman answered and said a man had been stabbed. They found Wahman on the kitchen floor as his wife held pressure on his wound, according to the report.

Security personnel took Wahman into the hall as another continued to care for her husband. Wahman told one of the security guards that she didn’t think she stabbed him that hard, according to the report.

A guest in a neighboring room told police she heard a commotion and someone repeatedly saying, “Oh God.” She heard someone on the phone reporting a stabbing and heard the sirens of responders.

VACATION?
Unpublished

I can think of a lot better way to spend a vacation than bleeding on the floor of a Myrtle Beach hotel. Tough thing for kids to have to deal with. From the picture it looks like booze or drugs involved.

" didn't think she stabbed

" didn't think she stabbed him THAT hard."....so a light stabbing would have been okay? What a redneck...

I know Erik

and am shocked to hear of this. I knew Erik before he meet and married his wife. We were friends for years that hung out and he is one of the kindest, most laid people I have ever known. Never did I see him be anything other then nice to other people. I wish Erik and his family all the best and that he recovers soon.
