Police say burglars stole more than $4,000 worth of items from an Augusta mobile home.
Nancy Newsome, of Bloomingdale, Ga., said two people forced their way into her mobile home between July 8 and July 18, an Richmond County sheriff’s report said. Deputies found the front door pried open and the home ransacked.
A neighbor said she saw a white Chrysler minivan parked outside of the home on several occasions when no one was there, the report said.
Among the items stolen were a $3,000 jewelry box and more than $1,000 in DVDs.
