  • Follow Crime & courts

Richmond County investigators are looking for a man suspected of stealing batteries from vehicles parked in front of an Augusta business in late June.

Staff at Complete Residential, 3307 Commerce Drive, returned to the business about 7:30 a.m. on June 28 and found four batteries stolen from vehicles in the parking lot.

Surveillance cameras captured a white man wearing a blue shirt and jeans at the business when the crime occurred. The man also was wearing a black baseball cap and gloves. He was seen driving a blue Chevrolet Astro van with papers scattered across the dashboard.

Anyone with information can contact Investigator Kendall Brown at (706) 821-1440 or the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at (706) 821-1080.
