Ok fill me in on what a Transition Center is?

Is it a 1/2 IN & 1/2 Released Jail?
Or is it a IN processing location?

A transition center is a kind

A transition center is a kind of like a halfway house, they are allowed to work during the day but have to be back at the house by a certain time at night.

Please tell me how a person

Please tell me how a person who is at a point in his incarceration can be considered "dangerous", yet is still eligible to be entered into a transition program?

Just the facts

When one is at the transition center, he's not "charged" with a crime. He's been "convicted." And when one walks east on 6th street, said person is crossing the road, because that street runs North/South.

Maybe it is Stale

OK he has been captured and I am glad, but I do not know how a person with that many violent crimes can be release to a half way house with a 12 year sentence that was committed in 2008. This does not make me warm and fuzzy!

That close to freedom, and can't wait it out just a little longer?

"Back into the slammer" is just the place for him.

A few much needed

A few much needed questions.

Given all of his felony / aggressive criminal history and numerous convictions. Some of which are still well within the mandatory jail time phase.

Why is he in a Halfway house to begin with?

Where was he caught and when?

How did he get loose or is the 1/2 way house concept a open door honest box solution?

Don't you have to have some

Don't you have to have some sort of job or be working in some way to be in a halfway house? Why stay there when you can go back to jail and get 3 meals, cable TV and a place to sleep? Or break free from the halfway house and go live on EBT cards and other gov't assistance?
