A Richmond County Superior Court jury convicted a 53-year-old Augusta man of child molestation Wednesday.

Jesse J. Goggins was accused of exposing himself to an underage girl in December 2011 and of inappropriately kissing the girl in March 2012. Judge J. Wade Padgett, who presided over the trial, sentenced Goggins to serve 10 years in prison followed by 10 years on probation.

10 years?

The reason children are at risk is because judges go light with these perverts. The judge should have sent him to prison for life because that's the only punishment that will protect children from these sicko's. Shame on the judge. I wonder what the sentence would have been if the child was a relative?

Just look at the other thread where the once convicted offender got out on parole and molests his OWN GRAND DAUGHTER!!! That piece of human filth should sit in isolation with bread and water for the remainder of his days.
