Warrenville woman arrested in map case

Katherine Silas, 42, of Pelzer Street in Warrenville, has been arrested in the theft of maps from Aiken City Hall.

According to a statement from the Aiken Department of Public Safety, Silas was identified by a Crimestoppers Tip and turned herself into authorities Monday morning.

She was booked into the Aiken County Detention Center and charged with simple larceny, police said.

The maps taken July 2 detailed the Dougherty Road corridor study.

Its simple....if she steals

Its simple....if she steals the maps, they cant possibly do the project.
