Thousands of dollars of

Thousands of dollars of damage. I figure about 1 decade in jail per 1 thousand dollars of damage ought to be about right for a common, low down, thief who would do thousands of dollars of damage to other people's properties to steal a hundred dollars or so worth of wiring.

If it were up to me,
Unpublished

dukes would be given the stolen copper and required to hold it while standing on the roof of one of the houses he stole from during a severe thunderstorm.

Yep likely got my Father-in-laws Coleman Ave. house

248# Coleman Ave. All the copper pipe was taken. At least $5,500 in Damages. We sold the house and property for $8,000 instead of $27K.

and his other house

202# Dunham Ct. was also copper raped back in April of this year.
The theft left the water on a little on.
Estimated damages $6,500 to $8,900,
Insulation, piping and foundation issues plus a big water bill that took many hours to straighten out.

To bad they don't publish his address.

"I figure about 1 decade in jail per

You're dreaming about a criminal justice system with the emphasis on "justice".

How about putting an ankle bracelet on this

creep (and others like him), hiring him out for whatever income he can bring?

Let him feed himself from the wages and force him to put everything else into a fund to reimburse those he and others ripped off until his debt is paid in full.

What value is he in jail, living and relaxing on taxpayer expense??
