City police, McDuffie County sheriff’s deputies and agents from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the FBI converged on the bank after receiving the 911 call at 9:40 a.m. Pat Morgan, the GBI special agent in charge of the Region 7 office in Thomson, said a man entered the bank, told a teller he had a gun and robbed her. Another wussification of America. He'd have to show me the gun before I gave him diddly squat. We've made crime a game and they play it better than we do.

Armed Robbery nevertheless.

Armed Robbery nevertheless. Under federal law if you say you have a gun in the course of a bank robbery you will be charged with armed robbery regardless of whether you actually have a gun or not.

Banks trained their employees to give NO resistance. They would actually fire you if you didn't comply with the orders of the suspect. I like them doing this; no money is worth a life and especially BANK money which is federally insured.
