Police are looking for a suspect who stole a motor scooter from an Augusta home.

Gustavo Carcamo, 35, of McDowell Street, said his maroon 2009 CFHG Pegasus with Florida tags was parked in his driveway around 5:30 p.m. Thursday, a Richmond County sheriff’s report stated.

Carcamo said he left for a short time and returned home around 9:30 a.m. Friday, but didn’t notice whether the scooter was missing. He contacted authorities shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday to report the theft, the report said.

The scooter is valued at $2,500.
