Richmond County authorities were called to the Augusta Estates Mobile Home Park at about 1 p.m. for a shooting incident with possible injuries, according to a statement released by the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said two men, Marcus Hilliard and Lewis Harmon, both 28 years old, were about to fight when Tiffany Lewis, 26, came outside of the home with a handgun and fired a shot. Harmon then shot an unknown number of rounds with a handgun.

During the altercation, Hilliard was shot in the upper right thigh and was taken to Georgia Regents Medical Center. The hospital could not release any information on his condition, according to a hospital spokesperson.

Investigators were unable to determine who was responsible for the shooting due to conflicting stories from those involved and witnesses, so they issued warrants for all three.

Each was charged with reckless conduct and Harmon was additionally charged with a felony count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Lewis was arrested and was being held at the Richmond County jail with bond set at $1,300.

Hilliard and Harmon have not yet been arrested. All three live in Augusta Estates.

Two 28 year old men were

Two 28 year old men were going to fight.

REALLY?

Too bad they weren't out working and providing for themselves and their families instead of engaging in juvenile foolishness.

Thank God no innocent bystanders were shot.

Two grown men and a woman

Two grown men and a woman acting just like what they are. Nuts that most likely depend on the check in the mail and the EBT card. How much more are the working people going to be shackled with people like this.

Felon in possesion of a handgun...

Should be a automatic life sentence w/o the possibility of parole. They didn't learn the first time and they will never learn.

@Gnip

That would be the best gun control legislation they could pass. There will be a point at which the pain is not worth the gain, or the criminal gun handlers will all be in jail.

"Should be a automatic life sentence w/o

the possibility of parole."

.
Good, now figure out the number of loonies out there this would apply to and then determine how to incarcerate, feed, house and provide free medical care to them all without putting the taxpayers into virtual bankruptcy.

Maybe putting a micro-chip into each and everyone of these sociopathic morons might work. Monitor them constantly by electronic means.

(I hear NSA is pretty good at that, maybe they could help. That could help keep them out of people's private lives.)

Not really news just another BOB AS.

But what is it with shooting people in the leg?
Is this some sort of weird fad?

ARC has had a whole bunch around Olive Rd., Old town and Harrisburg over the last 10 months.
