According to a news release, Erica Timpson, 24, of Alene Circle in Augusta, became aware of the court order, took her children – a 4-year-old and 2-year-old twins – from an alternative caregiver’s home and left the county.

The South Carolina Department of Social Services obtained the court order Wednesday.

The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, found Timpson and her children in the 2900 block of Vanessa Drive in Augusta on Thursday. She was arrested and taken to the Richmond County Detention Center.

Why is there no Amber Alert?

Wouldn't that help find them? I would think with the children in danger the authorities would want to get this information out to as many people as possible.

here we go again folks...typical welfare, leech, moocher, parasitic BROODMARE, of course no job or education to speak of...living off the "gubment welfare and foo stamps" now she's about to lose her kids...why??? becasue she gave birth to these poor children and she herself had no means except "fo da gubiment and foo stamps" as a way to take care of them. it's time to change the laws to have these "BROODMARES" show the ability to care and provide for children or have them removed and adopted out to working household. becasue a woman can birth a child does not mean she can be a mother and it is the taxpayers, working society, and "da gubiment" as the ones stuck providing for the children while females like this continue to birth baby after baby by man after man with little or no regard as to who will be feeding, clothing, and giving the children a place to live...this individual and females like her (just look in the local project/gubiment housing to see what i mean) only care about getting to "da club" and laying on their backs

Now if she had been their father

There would have been a SWAT team outside that house and everyone would be condemning the dad.
