Sketch released in Aiken Huddle House robbery

South Carolina authorities released a composite sketch Monday of the armed man they believe robbed an Aiken Huddle House on April 29.

According to the Aiken De­part­ment of Public Safety, a man walked into the restaurant at 3602 W. Richland Ave. about 2:30 a.m., told employees he was armed and demanded money.

The picture from the South Caro­lina Law Enforcement Division shows a young man, possibly between 22 and 30, wearing a hooded sweatshirt. The robber is described as black; between 6 feet and 6 feet 3 inches; between 180 and 210 pounds; and wearing a dark gray hoodie, red T-shirt and light gray sweatpants.

Anyone with information about the crime can contact CrimeStoppers of the Midlands at (888) CRIME-SC. Callers will remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
