An argument in Augusta on Sunday ended with a woman and her boyfriend in the hospital, according to a Richmond County sheriff’s report.
Clifford R. Wright, 24, and Brittany Miller, 23, were taken to Georgia Regents Medical Center around 2 a.m. Sunday after the two punched, kicked and stabbed each other at Miller’s home in the 200 block of East Telfair Street, the report says.
Deputies arrived at the home around 1:35 a.m. after a neighbor reported loud noises.
Deputies said the commotion started when Wright, of the 400 block of East Boundary, pinned Miller to a tree, punched her in the face and kicked her in the head after she fell to the ground.
Miller stabbed Wright in the back and shoulder before she was rendered unconscious from the shots to her head, police say.
Neighbors told authorities that the couple have a history of fighting.
