Two suspects identified in package store robbery

Two suspects were identified Friday in the robbery of the Windsor Package Shop on May 10.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Colby Bryton Mitchell, 30, and Jarnell Williams, 25, according to a news release.

During the robbery, the store owner fired shots at the suspects, hitting Williams in the ankle. Investigators believe Mitchell was also injured, the release states.

Police are also searching for a green SUV that was possibly hit by gunfire as the suspects fled the scene. The vehicle is believed to be owned by an acquaintance of the suspects described as a dark-skinned, black males with long dreadlocks.

word to the wise......

or maybe "unwise" in this case. Do not rob a Mom +Pop/privately managed store. You will get shot. Chain stores like Circle K have a "no gun" policy for their clerks. Private establishments don't abide by such rules, and will kill you or attempt to do so, and I for one salute their efforts at defending their lives and property.

BTW is there ONE package store in the CSRA that has not been a victim of armed robbery yet? Robbery seems to be the official Augusta pass time.
