According to Glascock County Chief Deputy Jeremy Kelley, Alisa Irene Tobin, 27, of the 400 block of Ashley Court in Gibson, was arrested Wednesday afternoon after a two-month investigation by the Glascock County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
A tip from the Glascock County school system coupled with information gleaned by the GBI led to Tobin’s arrest, Kelley said.
The victim, Kelley added, was at the Ashley Court residence with Tobin when she was arrested.
A bond hearing is scheduled. Tobin is being held in the McDuffie County Law Enforcement Center.
