Kevin Devonte Richardson, wanted in the brutal May 3 beating of a couple at Riverwalk Augusta, has turned himself in to authorities in Elkhart, Ind., Richmond County sheriff’s investigators confirmed late Wednesday.

A mug shot from the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department shows Richardson had changed his appearance, cutting his hair and shaving, but he was identified through fingerprints, Lt. Calvin Chew said in an e-mail.

Richardson is the second and final suspect arrested in the beating of Ashley Solesbee and Wesley Spires, who were clubbed with a metal bat or pipe as they sat on a bench. Spires is still hospitalized.

The other suspect, Robey Eugene Moses, 21, was arrested in Newberry, S.C., on Friday and extradited to Augusta on Tuesday.

Moses also was charged, along with Domonique Shantae Hale, 19, in the May 2 robbery of a man who was attacked as he left a Broad Street bar. According to an incident report, two people hit the 29-year-old Beech Island man from behind as he was leaving Riverfront Pub about midnight and took his wallet, phone and vehicle. A deputy found the semi-conscious man lying on the ground.

You can run and you can hide....

but not forever....

WOW!If it wasn't for finger

WOW!
If it wasn't for fingerprints
I'd be asking are they sure they have the right guy?

Forehead, lips. general head shape all look different.

Want to bet he fights extradition ?
But the law gets to add a Federal Rap now.
Interstate flight to avoid Prosecution.
So add 5-10 more years.

Let's see he should get 10 -15 GA & 5-10 Federal.
Given the legal system he should be out and on probation in <5 years.

Fight?

Why would he fight extradition after he turned himself in? Now on to making these monsters pay for what they did to innocent lives.

Mr. Richardson was made aware...

...that if he did not turn himself in quick...they would soon be able to hold The 2013 Richardson Family Reunion Picnic at the Phinizy Rd. jail.

I have word that virtually everyone this insect cares about in the world could be up on obstruction or accessory after the fact charges. In this day and age, communication via phone, internet, etc etc is traceable to the square inch and millisecond, and most of these low level vermin couldn't figure that out unless the instructions came in the lyrics of a rap tune.

BamaMan - Fighting

BamaMan - Fighting extradition after he turned himself.

Pre-Plea negotiations

The ARC DA or GA AG might be willing to take certain "levels" of crimes off the table to get him back in GA quickly.

Also just because a person turns themselves in doesn't mean they admit guilt. If I had the FBI, GBI, RCSO, SLED and others looking for me with Public Support on their side, I'd find neutral ground and turn myself in and go before a impartial judge.

But like Austin implied his family will have some questions to answers about helping him elude capture.

One day he is desperately robbing Tourists for cash,
then they find him 1000 miles up north?

How does a desperate thug in need of Cash manage that level of travel without local help?

I would also be interested to know he how lived, was it via employment or was it by the Gov. Handout system?

I'd like to know a timeline

I'd like to know a timeline where he was hiding, how long, and when he left here for Elkhart, and who helped him?

That doesn't surprise me,

That doesn't surprise me, Austin. Saw his fb, I'm betting RCSO did too. I knew from his last post, he was already gone. Pretty dumb to ask friends for money on fb after your picture is plastered all over the local news media. I was fully expecting to see arrests for aiding and abedding a fugitive.
