How safe is Riverwalk

What happened to this couple is why I stay in Columbia County where the Sheriff conducts Community Policing rather then bothering citizens that are not committing any crime driving in their car. I believe the Richmond County Sheriff should re-think his priorities and protect those he has taken an oath to protect.

I would like to see some undercover officers implement a sting operation on Riverwalk. And I think since bats are amoung the most used assault weapons, to buy one should require a background check, and people should march on the White House just like the anti-gun wackos did.
