Aiken authorities looking for Huddle House robber

Aiken authorities are searching for an unidentified man who robbed the Huddle House at 3602 Richland Avenue on Monday.

According to the Aiken Department of Public Safety, a man walked into the restaurant about 2:30 a.m., told employees he was armed, demanded money and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect hid his face with a white towel or cloth during the robbery. He is described to be in his early to mid-twenties, black, between 5-feet 10 inches and 6-feet 2 inches tall, 235 pounds, and wearing a dark gray hoodie, red T-shirt and light gray sweatpants.

Anyone with information should call Crimestoppers of the Midlands at 88-CRIME-SC (88-274-6372) and can remain anonymous. Callers could be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $1,000.
