Augusta police investigate Shirley Avenue gunfire exchange

Police continue to investigate a shootout between two vehicles on Shirley Avenue Sunday evening.

According to a news release, witnesses observed a grey or silver low-rider Cadillac with a white top and spinner rims and a gold in color vehicle exchanging gunfire on the 2000 block of Shirley Avenue around 10:30 p.m.

Police said one of the bullets resulted in an abrasion to a woman who was in the area. She refused treatment.

Will some one speak with the Downtown Preachers and Marion Willy to get the word out? This is Master weeks, we are not suppose to have any crime during Masters.
