Bandits rob Walton Way Zaxby's

Richmond County sheriff’s deputies are looking for two bandits who robbed the employees of a Walton Way restaurant early Friday.

According to a news release, the deputies were called the Zaxby’s at 1702 Walton Way about midnight. Employees there said they were walking to their vehicles after the store had closed when they were approached by two armed men who forced them back inside the business and robbed it of cash.

The suspects were both described as short, black males, perhaps weighing 175 pounds and wearing dark clothing and wielding handguns.

They fled on foot with the money, witnesses said.
