HANAHAN, S.C. — Two Charleston men have died and two other people were hurt in a wreck following a police chase in Hanahan.

An officer began chasing a car that turned out to be stolen late Wednesday. The officer reported that the fleeing car was traveling more than 100 mph.

The car ran off the road in some woods and overturned.

The Berkeley County coroner’s office says 19-year-old Patrick Graham and 18-year-old Martin Pinckney died in the wreck after they were thrown from the car.

A Summerville teen driving the car and she and a male passenger in the car were taken to the Medical University of South Carolina hospital for treatment.

Officers found three stolen guns and an open bottle of wine in the car.

Two less criminals walking

Two less criminals walking the streets. Play the game long enough, and this is the end result.

Why not call it like it is?

The title of the article should be "2 dead while fleeing from Police". Put the blame where it belongs, on the felons; not the civil servants doing their jobs.

Or maybe two dead as a result of terminal stupidity.
