Police asks public help in finding shoplifter

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help to find a shoplifter.

According to a news release, a black man in a blue-and-white striped shirt and blue sweatpants entered One Hour Optical, 2115 Windsor Spring Road, about 11:50 a.m. Oct. 17 and put items in his clothing.

Richmond County sheriff’s Investigator Jerry Howell can be contacted at (706) 821-1027 about the case.

but anyone who knows the guy will recognize him.

Why they waited so long is a mystery to me. Maybe they should have just let this one slide citing some sort of "statute of limitations".
