Police would like to talk to this woman, who was seen near a theft suspect.


The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a March 19 theft at Kroger store on 15th Street.

According to a news release, a black man in dark pants and a checked shirt took a wallet from a counter near a cash register. He appeared to be accompanied by a woman wearing doctor’s office attire. The theft happened about 4 p.m.

Anyone with information on the suspect can contact Investigator Jerry Howell at (706) 821-1027 or (706) 821-1020.

Given the overwhelming ratio

Given the overwhelming ratio of the pictures we see from these robbing and stealing situations, I think the store owners should invest in higher definition cameras that can take sharper pictures of darker objects in low light conditions and save them in a high resolution digital format.
