Police said Daniel Ortalaza faces charges after he went to his girlfriend’s Ulm Road home March 17 and began beating on the door and threatened to burn the house down.

Two days later, he returned to the home and again attempted to gain entry, police said. Those inside tried to barricade the door and then fired shots through it to try to scare Ortalaza away. Ortalaza got inside, punched one of the occupants several times and then ran away.

He will be charged with felony terroristic threats and acts, two counts of criminal trespass and a charge of simple battery, according to police.

People inside the house need to go down to the range and practice their aim a bit.
