Augusta man accused of tattooing teen

An Augusta man has been charged with tattooing after the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office investigated a teen’s claim that she was raped at his home in December.

According to Investigator Cheryl Dorsey, a 15-year-old girl reported on Dec. 26 that she was given alcohol and then sexually assaulted while at a home in the 2800 block of April Drive. The following day, Steven Braswell, 20, of Old McDuffie Road, was charged with rape and contribution to the delinquency of a minor.

During the investigation, authorities were told Coire Michael Robb, 23, who lives on April Drive, tattooed the teen without parental consent. Investigators found a freshly placed tattoo on her thigh.

Authorities issued a warrant for Robb on March 1. He was booked into jail Wednesday on misdemeanor charges of tattooing.

Did he forcibly tattoo this teen or did she seek out, ask for, and therefore was complicit in this high crime and misdemeanor

in his case, it does not matter if she begged for it, or if I recall correctly, even if her parent's ok'd it.. it is unlawful to tattoo a minor..

When you see someone the likes of Coire Michael Robb, just put them down. We do that when we see a rabid dog. This is a perfect example why we have so many problems in the world today, he is very sick with no cure available and will continue to ruin everone he is in contact with.

The unidentified reporter(s) could make this story more complete by stating that police dropped the charges of rape and contributing to the delinquency of a minor sometime after Dec. 27.

I wonder how many law books they had to look through before they found the tattoo statute?

This is pure insanity.

How many of these people fail to understand tat's are not considered acceptable in most higher paying jobs? That Tat's actually maybe limiting their career paths and future?

Yes there are exceptions to the general rule. But next you see such a person do a body tat count and compare the number to the type of job and position salary they work in.

Rape was claimed, but no Sex Charges were filed, just the Tattoo charge?
