According to a sheriff’s report, the victim says she loaned 21-year-old Tanara Carroll a 2013 Hyundai Elantra and that when it was returned March 9, it was missing $30 from the console, $2,000 from the trunk, $200 in gas cards, a $50 Outback Steakhouse gift card and a black leather purse with gold studs.
Carroll told police she borrowed the car but did not take the items. She said she had given an unknown man a ride to the gas station and that he must have taken the items while she was in the store.
