Correction: The name of a woman charged, but not indicted, in connection with a Hephzibah homicide has been incorrectly reported, most recently in an article Thursday. Leslie Blair, 41, is a potential witness in the Dec. 5 slaying of Michael Wickert. Blair is no longer a suspect. The Chronicle regrets the error.

A Richmond County grand jury issued an indictment this week that formally accuses a man of murder in a December homicide in Hephzibah.

Joseph Leon-Guerrero, 33, is accused of murder and theft, but two others also arrested were not indicted in the Dec. 5 killing of 48-year-old Michael Wickert on Keron Way.

Larry L. Norton Jr., 31, was named in the indictment but is accused of theft.

A third person, 41-year-old Lisa Blair, was not indicted and is no longer a suspect. Blair told investigators she awoke about 5:30 a.m. Dec. 5 and found Leon-Guerrero standing over Wickert’s body, holding a sledgehammer.
