Two teens are facing charges after police said they robbed a pizza delivery man Sunday evening.

According to a Richmond County Sheriff’s incident report, the delivery man, from Blythe, was making deliveries for Pizza Hut, 2519 Tobacco Road, when the incident occurred on the 2500 block of Hanover Street about 9 p.m. Sunday.

He told police he was walking to the front door when a man walked up to him and offered to get the door. Two more men came up behind the delivery man, pointed guns at him and demanded he drop to his knees.

Police said one struck the man in the face with a handgun after taking his money. The robbers ran away with three pizzas and the delivery man’s work apron with money in the pocket.

He drove back to Pizza Hut, where he called police. A deputy found the apron with money still in the pocket. The report stated the deputy tracked footprints to a vehicle parked on Hemstead Court with two people matching the description inside. Police discovered a small bag of an item appearing to be marijuana, a black BB gun used in the robbery and a wooden axe handle in the vehicle.

Its occupants, a 16-year-old and Michael Bernard Bush, 17, were charged with armed robbery. Bush was also charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Police continue to search for the third robber.
