Police said a 17-month-old girl hospitalized for possible child abuse last week has died.

Emergency responders were called to the 3700 block of Bansbury Lane in Hephzibah on Feb. 20 for a toddler in cardiac arrest.

The child, who was unresponsive, was taken to Georgia Regents Medical Center, where she died Wednesday.

Doctors told police the injuries were consistent with child abuse. Richmond County sheriff’s Lt. Calvin Chew said a cause of death has not been determined and charges have not been filed.

was child abuse, leave the punishment in the hands of the left. Their concerns are always with the offenders. They believe a helpless child ( in the womb or just a baby ) are not viable human beings and the murderers don't deserve to die for committing a crime against them. To hell with democrats and their leftie co-horts.
