15 arrested in Richmond County drug sweep

Fifteen people have been arrested by the Richmond County sheriff’s narcotics division in a drug sweep.

Sheriff’s Lt. Calvin Chew said the undercover operation involving several counties and federal authorities has been under way for months.

Police started making arrests in the past week and expect arrests to continue throughout the coming days.

Those arrested have been identified as: Lisa Ward Davis, Ronald Lamar Walker Jr., Christopher Cros­by, Saman­tha Wylene Cohn, David Joseph Rowe, Jackie Lynn Norris, Tommy Wayne Blair, Tara Elizabeth Blair, Wendy Lynn Sims, Christopher Mark Yoho, Kevin Michael Drake and Michael Morales.

Henry Scott Marchman and Benjamin Michael Guin are in prison but have active grand jury arrest warrants and will be taken back to the Richmond County jail. Lorenzo Freddie Thomas is in custody in Burke County.

Police said details will be released at the end of the sweep.
