Police are investigating a possible child abuse case as a 17-month old girl remains on life support in critical condition.

According to a Richmond County sheriff’s release, emergency responders were called to the 3700 block of Bansbury Lane in Hephzibah on Wednesday in reference to a toddler in cardiac arrest. The child, who was unresponsive, was taken to Georgia Regents Medical Center. Police said doctors told them the child had injuries consistent with child abuse.

The investigation is in its early stages and no charges have been filed, police said.

Once again, completely heartbreaking.

The lack of character and conscious is becoming too common.
Our judicial system must stand up and say it will not be tolerated.
May God bless and rescue His infant from this abuse.

address:

I don't think there is a Banbury or Bansbury Lane, so do you mean Bansbury Place in Hephzibah, or Banbury Street, in Augusta?
