According to a Richmond County Sheriff’s Office incident report, a black man wearing a black pullover hoodie came into the business about 8:45 p.m. and pointed a gun at the employee behind the counter before taking the cash.
He then fled across Tobacco Road and went north on Hiers Boulevard. The victim did not call police “because she was afraid and her English is very broken,” according to the report.
A business owner next door to the restaurant reported the robbery Thursday after reviewing his security camera footage, which he gave to police.
