Waynesboro, Ga., police have arrested four more teens in connection with a gang conflict that resulted in gunfire Tuesday night.

Tacorey Lakes, Tavares D. Washington, Willie Powell Jr. and Royrecacia A. Walker – all 18 – were charged with criminal street gang activity Saturday.

Five others arrested earlier in the week – Nakie Hankerson, 17; Anthony L. Dixon, 18; Shaquan A. Hines, 19; Kahlil T. Kedar, 18; and Alshumar Hankerson, 19 – will also be charged with criminal street gang activity. Charges of terroristic threats and acts, battery, criminal trespass, criminal damage to property and aggravated assault will fall under that charge, Chief Alfonzo Williams said.

Police are still looking for Ty Owens, Alvin Jenkins, Rontavis Cooper and Shaurd Miller.

The Chief does have the city

The Chief does have the city under control. He doesn't believe in giving "Second Chances" to repeaters. He's done more here than anyone else in the last 20 years!!! Residents in Waynesboro feel safer now than they ever have.
