Xavius Keron Bell, 21, and Elmonte Surry, 20, were booked into the Richmond County jail Wednesday on four counts of armed robbery and charges of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
A third suspect, James Robinson, was arrested Jan. 10 on the same charges.
Police said the three entered the store at 1957 Martin Luther King Blvd. around 8:30 p.m. with guns and forced the store owner and six customers, who ranged in age from 44 to 80, to hand over their pants, jewelry and money. The store owner was also ordered to hand over money from the register.
One of the gunmen told the victims, “Don’t make me make this a homicide,” according to an incident report.
The robbers left in two of the victims’ vehicles. Police located both vehicles soon after with the men’s pants inside.
