The two remaining suspects in the robbery of seven men at J.R.’s Stop and Shop on Dec. 29 have been caught.

Xavius Keron Bell, 21, and Elmonte Surry, 20, were booked into the Richmond County jail Wednesday on four counts of armed robbery and charges of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

A third suspect, James Robinson, was arrested Jan. 10 on the same charges.

Police said the three entered the store at 1957 Martin Luther King Blvd. around 8:30 p.m. with guns and forced the store owner and six customers, who ranged in age from 44 to 80, to hand over their pants, jewelry and money. The store owner was also ordered to hand over money from the register.

One of the gunmen told the victims, “Don’t make me make this a homicide,” according to an incident report.

The robbers left in two of the victims’ vehicles. Police located both vehicles soon after with the men’s pants inside.

Well done Richmond County LE

Wonderful - they are all behind bars and hopefully won't do anymore harm. Tents and pink jumpsuits would be a lot more suitable for all the criminals - the luxury they are living in cannot be considered punishment. And then they don't have to work either! Chain gang!
Yes - they had them years ago and saved the States a lot of money!

I wholehearted agree with you on the Chain gang. Augusta would be a beautiful place if they had those inmates out cleaning up the streets.
