Richmond County sheriff’s deputies arrested three men Sunday, after two were caught in the act of a break-in on 15th Street, according to sheriff’s records.

Deputies were called at 8:18 a.m. to investigate a report of three men in dark clothing behind Shiloh Community Center, a report said. While checking the area, deputies heard loud banging noises coming from next door at Mercy Ministries, 1621 15th St. The officers followed the noises and began searching, eventually finding Germaine Bowman, 36, of Floyd Street, and Carl Gant III, 19, of McCauley Street, hiding in a room on the west end of the building. Police also found a green bag containing cutting tools on another floor.

Police said they heard Bowman state “they got us” before the two surrendered. They told deputies that a third man, Kenneth Bell, 20, fled the building. Police later located and arrested Bell at his home on Roosevelt Street.

All three were charged with burglary and possession of burglary tools during the commission of a crime. They were being held Sunday at the Richmond County Jail.

How Low can thieves

How Low can thieves go?

Robbing a Homeless shelter may be the answer?

-----------------------

BTW:
Is this the same Homeless Shelter that Loris & Butch fought against back in March 2010?

BTW: This is how Community Watch Can Work.

Seen It, Heard It, & Reported It.

It only takes a concerned community resident willing to pick up a phone and play 20 questions with 9-1-1.

Who ever the caller was, the person should get a some recognition.

The Harrisburg area would do well to encourage these type of Citizen(s).
