A man sought in November for holding a pistol to his girlfriend’s head and a machete to her throat has been captured, police said.

Tony Timpson, 41, was booked into the Richmond County Jail on Thursday on charges of terroristic threats and acts, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon after deputies found him near 10th Street.

Police were called to the victim’s Calvary Drive home on Nov. 29 after the 31-year-old woman escaped.
