One person is dead after a shooting Saturday evening at a Lucky 7 convenience store on Hampton Avenue in Aiken.

Aiken County sheriff’s deputies found a man dead in his car outside the store after receiving a call about gunshots at 6:50 p.m., Sgt. Jason Feemster said.

Witnesses said a man on foot was arguing with the victim and fired into the car before fleeing.

The man is described as a black man wearing all black, Feemster said.

A lack of class from some on the comments. Yes crime is everywhere but be concerned and not try to make it a personnel issue.
