Three Westside High School students were injured when two men shot pellet guns at them Friday, but the students did not require medical attention.

The incident occurred shortly after noon, and school officials locked the school down for the remainder of the day.

According to a news release, students were playing football on the practice field at 12:15 p.m. during their lunch period when they were hit. Students chased the two black men, one wearing a camouflage hoodie and the other a silver hoodie, through the woods behind the practice field before losing them near the Fountain Head apartment complex. Officers searched the apartments but didn’t find the men.

Richmond County schools Public Safety is investigating the incident.

The pellets did minor damage to the windshields of two faculty vehicles.

Prime example as to how media has a negative side. Our starvation for having to know everything has its effects.

This story should have not been at the top of the opening page. There was a far more serious shooting in Conn. Playing up this story today is wrong.

Really? I kinda like to know that two men are shooting our students here locally. Even if it is with pellett guns, I think people should be aware of this and on the look out for these idiots. Would you feel the same if it were your child that had been shot?

I guess it would have only have been front page news if they came back with adult guns? Now maybe others will be on the lookout for these criminals, and maybe an escalation will be avoided?

He will be posting as "jailman" and the lowlifes' family will be suing him for everything that he has unless he was in fear for his own life abd was shooting in self-defense when he ended that lowlifes life.

self defense

According to the law taught by CWP instructors, deadly force is permitted to protect "ANYONES" life, not just your own.
