Richmond County sheriff’s deputies have made an arrest in a shooting that wounded a 19-year-old man at a convenience store Dec. 7, Lt. Blaise Dresser said.

Marcus Anthony Leverett, 28, was arrested Wednesday and charged in the shooting of Richard Mills at the Pak-N-Go in the 1600 block of Olive Road. Mills was shot at least three times in the legs and chest, police said.

Leverett faces charges of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a first offender probationer, Dresser said in an e-mail.

Olive Rd looks like a war zone this morning .....
Unpublished

from White Rd to the Gordon Hwy. A third world culture. And all of the streets feeding into Olive Rd. Fifty years of "social engineering" has made a great difference in these neighborhoods. Some of us remember Olive Rd. when the evil Anglo's lived, worked, raised families, worshiped and went to school.

Sean M.
does the AC have an Email or URL to report mistakes?
I looked for about 5 mins last night and kept missing it.
