Richmond County sheriff’s deputies have made an arrest in a shooting that wounded a 19-year-old man at a convenience store Dec. 7, Lt. Blaise Dresser said.
Marcus Anthony Leverett, 28, was arrested Wednesday and charged in the shooting of Richard Mills at the Pak-N-Go in the 1600 block of Olive Road. Mills was shot at least three times in the legs and chest, police said.
Leverett faces charges of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a first offender probationer, Dresser said in an e-mail.
