A Suburban driver who traveled west for three miles in the eastbound lanes of River Watch Parkway – causing wrecks with three other cars and sending six people to the hospital – is refusing to cooperate with authorities.

Investigators sort through the wreckage of a four-vehicle accident in the eastbound lanes of River Watch Parkway on Monday morning.

Monique Sullivan, 35, was in fair condition Tuesday night at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital, but was refusing to work with police, Richmond County sheriff’s Capt. Scott Gay said.

The investigation into Monday’s wreck will continue with toxicology tests and work at the crash site, he said.

Amelia Hiltz, 32, was in the same lane as Sullivan and tried to veer right before being hit by Sullivan’s 2003 Chevrolet Suburban. The Suburban then hit a car driven by Kevin Mollenhauer, 25, who was in the other lane. Mollenhauer’s car slammed into Hiltz’s, causing most of the damage, said Richmond County sheriff’s Lt. Randy Prickett.

Sullivan’s SUV flipped and hit another car driven by Augusta lawyer Maureen Floyd, 52.

Hiltz, 32, was still in critical condition Tuesday evening, Floyd was serious and Sullivan’s husband was fair, a hospital spokeswoman said.

You're Close LL

LL, your 11:10 is close.. Letting a lawyer do the talking for you is the correct thing to do in all cases. If you cannot afford such a luxury, silence is golden.

too Bizarre for the mind to comprehend, ICL...A mircle has been played for those involved and now I guess it is in the hand of Science.

Hope the AC has a reporter on this one 24/7 and keeps us informed. So many AC has let disappear leaving the public/us with Questions.

Unfortunately for this

Unfortunately for this uncooperative woman, she ran into one of the best lawyers from one of the best law firms in Augusta. I think she may have a somewhat difficult time finding a decent lawyer that will represent her now. Maureen is incredibly well loved in the Augusta area and there are a lot of people out there that will fight for her and the other victims of this crime and see that this woman gets what she deserves in the court of law.
