Authorities have located the missing car of a slain Hephzibah man.

Michael Wickert’s 1987 Chevrolet IROC Z that was stolen after his death last week was found Tuesday afternoon, Richmond County sheriff’s Lt. Blaise Dresser said in a statement.

Police declined to say where the car was found.

Three people have been arrested in connection with Wickert’s death. Larry Lawson Norton Jr., of the 3600 block of Hopson Mill Road in Blythe, was arrested and charged with murder and theft by taking of a motor vehicle. Two people who lived with Wickert – Leslie Blair, 41, and Joseph Leon-Guerrero, 33 – were arrested late last Wednesday on charges of murder, possession of a knife during the commission of a crime and theft of a motor vehicle.

Last Wednesday, investigators found Wickert’s body at a home on Keron Way. Autopsy results revealed that Wickert, 48, died from blunt force and stabbing injuries.
