Richmond County sheriff’s investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect of credit card fraud.
According to a news release from Sgt. Paul Godden, of the sheriff’s burglary task force, an unidentified woman is suspected in a Nov. 4 fraud case at Walgreens, 3204 Peach Orchard Road.
Anyone who might be able to identify the woman is asked to call the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at (706) 821-1020 or (706) 821-1080, or the Tip Line at (866) 939-5050. All information received will remain confidential, investigators say.
Why did it take a full month for law enforcement and then the Augusta Chronicle to publish a picture of the suspected person? She should have been easy to identify. Now a whole month has passed, is she still anywhere in this area? I hope so and I hope someone will turn her in.
Since the Elections, Robbery Crimes are down because everybody has been "Given what they wanted". So RCSO & the AC had to so back before Election day to find a crime of robbery.
This explains why 30 days? Nov 4th is 2 days before the election.
