Police investigating armed robbery at Augusta gas station

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Lumpkin Road gas station Wednesday evening.



Richmond County sheriff’s Sgt. Dan Carrier said a masked and gloved man entered Lucky Trip, at the corner of Lumpkin and Richmond Hill roads, about 8:30 p.m. and demanded money at gunpoint. The gunman then ran out with the money.
